Sun, sun, sun

May 22, 2016 Jade Edgell

I thought this week it would be nice for you all to see what we have been up to over in the Baby unit, and we've spent lots of time in the garden!

So this week in the Nest and Warren we have been out enjoying the sunshine! (That's right, the sunshine!) We've applied lots and lots of suncream over the past few weeks and we now all smell lovely!

As we've now become a Baby unit we're all working closely together as a team and have been enjoying the wonderful outside facilities that we have now!

We've had the sand and water out this week and the babies all loved it! We put bubbles in the water and had the dolls! The older babies really enjoyed washing the babies and also themselves and ended up very wet! A few of the babies even climbed into the tough tray and got soaked! It's a good job all you wonderful mummies and daddies bring lots of spare clothes!

We have also been building towers, but especially knocking them down!

We have all loved playing on the slide that comes off from the decking! Including myself!

I also have invested in something amazing that the babies absolutely love!!

A BUBBLE MACHINE! All the babies have really enagaged in the bubbles, watching them as they float around the room/garden! Shouting pop, pop, pop.

Soraya has been over with us all week to see how we're progessing and also to meet all the new babies that have now joined us now that we've expanded! We spoke a lot about how the "baby unit" doesn't describe our lovely new space as a whole, so would like to get you all involved in choosing a name! Madi, Lou, Cat, Abbie, Tiff and I have came up with a few names!

So over the next few weeks we'd like to get as many people as possible to help us come up with a name! We're going to have a box in the entrance to the Nest and Warren where you are able to pick a name from our top 5... write it on a piece of paper and vote! We will keep you updated with this on our facebook page, twitter account and weekly emails!

You have until the 3rd of June to vote for your favourite!

Get Voting!

Thanks for reading!
