JAYNE ADAMS
CHEF
On leaving school I started college where I gained my cheffing experience. I then went on to travel and spent much time cooking in hotels abroad. Next, I worked as head chef at the local golf club and pubs which I loved. I went on to open my own catering business where I ran a Victorian tea shop and outside catering company. This was a huge dream of mine and I loved every second. I sold the business when I met my now husband and we went on to have a family. I spent 14 years at Bath Spa as deputy catering manager where I gained huge experience in the financial running of a business and really enjoyed this.
I joined Free Rangers in 2017 and I’m really enjoying being back cooking. Since I’ve been at Free Rangers, we have received the food for life award. I am extremely proud of this achievement as we are the only nursery in Somerset to have this. Also, I am a sugar smart ambassador and attained 5 stars in our latest environment health inspection.
