This week in the Nest we have been very busy, being very creative in making a beautiful card for our Lisa, using our hand and a variety of tools and resources such as, glue, paper to stick with, bingo pens, powder paint and markers. Lisa has sadly left this week and we would all like to wish her the best of luck in her new adventures and we will all miss her very much.
Following our planning this week, we have been, using sounds in play, building our language and interaction with others, closely observing what animals do, whilst being out and about this week taking trips to Welton park, a walk along the green way to see what animals and wildlife we can spot and visits to see Gary the Goose and the other animals on the farm.
We have also been splashing in water, with animals making sounds, noises and naming animals whilst enjoying the warm water and lavender bubbles.
We have really enjoyed our singing sessions with musical instruments, developing number names through songs, music and movement, also moving our whole bodies through sounds we enjoy, using songs cards and animal props to aid our interactions and participation of all children, taking turns.
