This weeks activities, following the EYFS planning are, rolling balls in paint to experiment with making new marks and patterns, with a large variety of sensory balls, using powder paint in the tuff spot on a large scale and also in the big tray to encourage development of our gross motor skills, by pulling ourselves up and taking steps around the tray. We have been getting very messy with flour too! Pushing big trucks, cars diggers and tractors to make tracks also.
For our Forest School planning we have been making footprints in mud with wellies, investigating our mark-making skills, exploring textures and awakening our senses by touch, taste, smell and sight.
We have also been out on walks, around the farm to observe the outdoors and wildlife on the farm, visiting the horses, chickens , Gary the goose and the guinea pigs. Trips along the green-way saying hello, to people walking past dogs too and a trip to feed the ducks.
