Hello, I hope you have all had a lovely week enjoying the mixture of spring and winter! We sure have had lots of fun, splashing in puddles and exploring our surroundings.
This week in the Burrow, Forest School has been exploring water and transportation. The children have been using cups and bowls to move the water, whether they move it to the guttering and pipes or run it down a little hill! All week the children have showed lots of involvement, using team work to move the water and helping each other if the container was too heavy!
In this video you will see Daniel pouring water into the guttering, he uses his big orange jug so he can “get lots of it” as he tells me. He shows great concentration on his face to what he is doing and what he wants to do, he will then follow the water down the pipe whist saying “quick, quick”.
Of course during the week we don’t make children do the plan for Forest School, after Max and Daniel had spent time with the water play they decided to walk around the paddock with a tube. You may ask what are they doing, I did wonder that myself and tried asking them what plan they had but they were obviously too busy to answer back!
