There's a lot of talk on site at the moment, all about the 24 Three Peaks Challenge that a group of the Free Rangers' team are hoping to complete on 3 June this year, all in aid of raising funds to support some of our families' children that require specialist medical equipment.
The children have been intrigued to learn why Ed Red Fox, Office Jess and Jess N have been slightly stiff and hobbling around on occasion and so they've explained what we're doing and why we're doing it.
Having spoken to groups of children we thought it would be a nice idea to offer this challenge to them.
And so, throughout the week commencing Monday 22nd May, all children will have the chance to walk / crawl or even be carried up our two fields that run parallel to Millard's Hill.
The walks will take place during the day and if you would like to raise money with your child, then please ask your child's key person for a sponsorship form. All funds raised will be added to the main Three Peaks Challenge pot. Which currently stands at around £650!
This will be a really positive event. No child will be forced to complete the challenge, but will be encouraged to clap and cheer others that are willing to challenge themselves. If you'd like to join your child in this challenge, please email charlotte@freerangers.org.uk and she will let you know what time your child will be completing their challenge as the event will run alongside the normal Forest School session times.
Please also share our Just Giving Link on all of your social media channels, let's see how much money we can raise for these Free Range children that need our support.
