After the older children left at Christmas to enjoy their new adventures down in the Burrow, The Hive was feeling a little bit empty... you know what that means! Time for some new children to join the Free Rangers team!
So we've had a busy few weeks! With lots of children, settling in's taking place across the Hive and lots first days, it's safe to say the Hive is back up and running and we've had a lot of new babies joining us!
We've been enjoying the outdoors and the space that Free Rangers has to offer and the babies have loved the new resources, including this new trike for the garden!
We've also been focusing on 'Making Relationships' in the 'Personal, Social and Emotional Development' section from the Early Years Foundation Stage. Due to new children joining us, it's important that they are able to trust us and feel happy whilst in the setting.
This is why we as practitioners at Free Rangers feel that it is important for the babies to have a settling in session, which consists of 1 hour. During which, you are able to tell us all about your child and their individual needs! The settling in session will take place with the child's key person and you will be able to get to know the practitioner and they will be able to get to know yourself and your child. The 2 hour session is also very important to us as it helps us understand what comfort your child may need when being in the Hive.
If you haven't already please take a look on your child's tapestry account! You'll find lots of pictures and observations! If you have any questions please pop into the office or drop Charlotte an email!
The new children who have recently joined us are doing extremely well! In the space of a week, they have all settled in and are getting on really well!
If you've got any questions please ask! Thanks for reading!
