Over the past few weeks in the Hive, the Hive have been plitting up into groups to take part in different activities whether they are walking around the farm to see the animals or getting a bit messy!
Chloe has been planning different messy play activities and over the past few weeks and this week we've been enjoying cooked spaghetti!
The first week the children added dinosaurs to the spaghetti, they used the spaghetti to cover the dinosaurs up, they also made footprints in the flour and pretended that the dinosaurs were eating the flour.
The second week Chloe added cutlery and bowls for the children to practice scooping, they enjoyed using the spoons to pick the spaghetti up and put into the bowls! (This can be a bit tricky! They done super well!)
Some children enjoyed put the spaghetti on their heads and pretended that they had spaghetti hair! This was very fun!
We also added flour and glitter to the spaghetti! It had a strange texture and the children enjoyed using their hands and feet to touch the spaghetti!
This week the children have also been walking around the farm to see the horses! Whilst taking part in this, we popped in to say hello to the chickens! And sung "chick chick chick chick chicken!" When we saw the horses we sang "horsey horsey!"
Over the next few weeks expect lots of colourful children as were going to be taking part in body painting!
Thanks for reading!
