SOPHIE CULLEN
EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER IN THE DEN
Hi, I'm Sophie!
I first began studying Early Years in 2012, which involved gaining experience with children of all different ages, through working in a variety of settings. I cared for babies, toddlers, and children of a school age.
I joined Free Rangers as a student back in September 2013, and found the way that the children learn very different to anything I'd ever experienced in other settings. I left as a qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse in Summer 2014, and not even a week later I was back!
At present, you can find me in the Burrow caring for your little ones. I love the fact the children get to develop their personalities through their own choices and decisions, they get to explore through the environment, see lots of animals on site, and (quite often) get very messy! It's a very rewarding job.
I love watching Free Rangers grow, and I can only see good things to come in the future!
Favourite tree: Weeping Willow
Favourite forest animal: Hedgehog
Favourite season: Winter (it means Christmas is coming!)
