I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a very happy new year, it’s lovely to hear all about the presents that the children have been given from Father Christmas! It also seems that all you parents had a lovely time also, minus anyone that has told me you have been poorly over the holidays.
A new term at Free Rangers means new children in the Burrow, which has been lovely to meet lots of new faces and get to know them over the week. We have had children down from The Warren and also completely new faces from other nurseries or who are new to going to a nursery all together.
This week the planning has been pulled right back to simple but of course still challenging, to allow all the children to have a warm welcoming back to Free Rangers. The children have also found that we have new toys (how exciting), this includes number jacks, counting dinosaurs, new pots and pans and lots of new building blocks! All the children have enjoyed exploring the range of activities set out in the week. Forest school has also helped children know what there surrounding area is like also, visiting the paddock, farm and greenway.
In the week you may have noticed that we have a new member of staff, this is Soraya our new room leader. She has come from Midsomer Norton Primary School and has had lots of experience in childcare.
We hope you have all managed to get over eating lots of food over the Christmas period, next stop will be Easter!
