Over the past few years I've seen many babies grow up and develop into the cheeky little toddlers they are today... Whether they are now in the Burrow or Den, or maybe even school! (Yes I've been here a while!)
Watching the babies grow and develop is such a rewarding experience and we as practitioners are able to help them along the way.
Babies first words, learning to walk and learning to feed themselves are such a massive part of their lifes. And as a practitoner in the Hive, I know that we all feel extremely priviedged that you are able to trust us to help them along the way with this development process. There are so many more things that babies learn and during their time here at Free Rangers in the Hive we hope we support them with every step of the way!
As a key person we have responsibilites for a small group of children, this involves supporting your child to make them feel safe and secure. Many of you are already aware that we try to do weekly updates on your children online, on https://tapestryjournal.com/ this is where your childs key person will give you updates on how the childs learning and development by following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You as a parent are able to comment and like posts that we've put on! If you arent aware of your childs tapestry account please pop into the office and ask Charlotte and she'll set you up!
We've recently been going to the Burrow for settling in sessions with the older children who will be moving up in January 2018. During this time I was able to see some of the old Hive children and I was shocked at how much a child can change in a matter of weeks! (Pretty impressed that quite a few of them remembered me too!)
In January we will sadly say goodbye to the older Hive children as they move onto the Burrow, but this is for the best as they are slowly out growing the Hive! We wish you all the best in the Burrow but dont forget any of us!
Throughout December the Hive will be taking part in lots of Christmas activites (and no its definatly not to early to talk about it!) Madi has a different Christmas jumper for every day of December so dont forget your Christmas jumpers!
Hope you have a lovely rest of the week!
