This week in the Nest we have been getting more and more into the Christmas spirt, decorating Christmas trees with glitter, glue and metallic dabber pens, making footprints with wellies in artificial snow adding glitter for that extra sparkle and investigating the cold textures. We have also been decorating pine cones with green and red paint using our hands to mark make also on the table, which we have found out and about on our travels, walking along the greenway, a trip to the post box, a visit to the duck pond and saying hello to all the animals on the farm.
Learning new Christmas songs such as twinkle twinkle Christmas lights, incy wincey spider climbed up the Christmas tree, and many more, dancing to Christmas music, filling and emptying containers with porridge oats and flour, using metal pots and pans and big utensils and welcoming new friends into the nest as they settle in before starting with us after Christmas.
Merry Christmas from the Nest
