A breath of fresh air

Last week, every day, we took the babies for a walk along the greenway. The babies freely explored and walked around this outdoor environment consisting of hedgerows, green fields and an resurfaced railway track joining Radstock to Welton. Being able to grow their confidence on their feet, explore the plants and widen their knowledge of their surroundings, help the children to understand their physical environment and negotiate the many challenges it has to offer. They enjoyed running up to the puddles and splashing in them. They learnt to avoid the stinging nettles yet enjoyed running their fingers through the cow parsley.

After all the excitement the babies were exhausted and enjoyed a well earned rest…. And all from a breath of fresh air!
